On the 16th August 2010 our sister in law Carol passed peacefully away at the Forest    Holme Hospice within Poole Hospital, Dorset with her daughter Georgina by her side.             Her fight against breast cancer had started only a year after giving birth to her second daughter Candice, back in 1999.  Carol had married for the second time and was blessed with a rare and loving marriage that some can only dream of.

Carol spent her early years in Australia and at the age of 20 embarked on a successful     modelling career which took her into the world of media and starring within T.V adverts.   Her high point was when she was offered a role in the T.V series 'Home & Away' which      she decided to turn down to start a family and become a wonderful mother.                     Her first marriage later dissolved and after deciding to make her life in the UK with    Georgina, she met and married the true love of her life, Duncan.

Since Carol's passing Georgina has endeavoured to raise Cancer awareness and financial help for the Hospice                                       that offered so much love, warmth and support to her Mum.  In September Georgina faced the challenge to walk                                      '3 Peaks In 3 Days' in Ben Nevis where she scattered her Mum's ashes at the top of each peak.                                                            This is a heart breaking situation that could affect anyone, please never neglect yourself or if you feel a loved one                                     is in need of medical advice, try to advise them that it's in their best interest to visit their G.P.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Our fund raising day is on Friday April 29th.  We are holding a street party for the Royal Wedding                                   which will include a BBQ, Quiz, Karaoke, Disco, Games & a Raffle.
